Starting up
Press the on/off button to activate the thermometer. Within one second, the thermometer is ready to work. Also use on/off button to conserve battery life.
Taking measurements
Insert the stainless steel probe into the substance you are measuring. The temperature will appear on the display.
Viewing minimum/maximum memory
1. Press the Min/Max memory button to read the last maximum temperature measured. The“Max”indicator appears on the display.
2. Press the Min/Max memory button again for the last minimum temperature measured. The “Min”indicator appears on the display.
Erasing minimum/maximum memory
1. Press the Min/Max memory button to see the maximum temperature reading. Immediately press the Clear button. “– ––” will appear on the display.
2. Press the Min/Max memory button again to seethe minimum temperature reading. Immediately press the Clear button. “– – –”will appear on the display.
Selecting °F /°C
Press the °F/°C button on the back of the head to switch between °F and °C readings.
