PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not a dealer or a shop owner I’m just a doll lover who is downsizing in retirement. This red and green plaid “holiday” dress for 8 inch Betsy McCall is in super good condition. It was first issued in 1959. I can find no tears, or rips. The Original square snaps are there and working. White bias trim on the sleeves and neck are not frayed but still in great shape. Coloring is still Deep and dark and good no fading that I can find. I know the pictures with the black background make the colors look dull but it really is bright and deeply colored. Will look great on your vintage Betsy. The red tights are still bright and colorful the elastic is still stretchy and good however there was a run going from the hip line to about the thigh which has been lovingly and very well hand stitched closed. I believe the dress would mostly cover this repair; that is the only drawback to this outfit.They are still stretchy and good.
