Vintage! 1940s Pickwick Cosmetics Co.  CARNATION Perfume 1 oz. Size Empty

Offered for your consideration is a vintage 1940’s era perfume bottle from Pickwick Cosmetics Company located on Fifth Avenue in New York City.     The empty bottle once held CARNATION perfume and this is the 1 fl oz. size splash bottle.   The bottle has a heart shaped center that flares out on a rectangular base.   The “heart” portion is crisscrossed glass on both the front and back.  The sides are clear and so is the base.  ((The bottle shape and form remind me of Blue Waltz perfume that was so popular in the late 40’s and 50’s.))       There is evidence of dark perfume residue in the bottom of the bottle.  Bonus.. you can still smell the fragrance even now.
The bottle is just over 3 1/4 inches tall.  It has a lovely round gold foil label and writing in red and black.  It is in really nice condition and easily read … except older eyes may need the assistance of a magnifying glass!     No box.
This would certainly be a nice addition to a vintage perfume bottle collection..
