Yueyang Tower is an ancient Chinese tower in Yueyang, Hunan Province, on the shore of Lake Dongting.

TANI BUNCHO
(1763-1840) was a literati (bunjin) painter and poet. Like most bunjinga painters of his time, he focused largely on Chinese-inspired landscapes. Since travelling outside Japan was forbidden under the Tokugawa shogunate, he was unable to study in China. Therefore, he spent many years in Nagasaki and studied Chinese art and Western art with traders there. Watanabe Kazan and Takaku Aigai are his disciples.
