Theatre program, 12 ½ x 9 ¼ inches, 32 pp. for the Max Reinhardt production of "The Miracle"; book by Karl Vollmoeller; score by Engelbert Humperdinck; costume and scenic design by Norman Bel Geddes. Following 17 different productions of "The Miracle" in Europe, the first in 1912, the pageant was ultimately brought to America where it was produced at the Century Theatre (employing a Cathedral-like interior) in 1924. The program is lavishly designed with text by various contributors and numerous color costume plates by Norman Bel Geddes. Light toning to upper left corner of front cover; overall very good clean condition.
