In this auction we offer:
I offer you a small personal radio made by the Racal company.
The radio is of the PRC349 / RT349 type.
It is a miniature personal radio for team-platoon communication as well as for individual soldiers (scouts, snipers, etc.).
The complete set of radio weighs only 1.8 kg, which makes it the lightest radio station of the Clansman family.
The radio is powered from a container for 10 AA batteries.
At the same time, thanks to the output power of 1W, the radio provides quite a decent range even on a short flexible antenna.
Thanks to its small dimensions, good parameters and excellent resistance to difficult conditions, the radio was used until the late 2000s. For a short time, it was even used in Iraq and Afghanistan to fill the gaps in equipment and small personal radio stations.

You are bidding on a set consisting of: radio transceiver block, antenna, battery container and a handset with a PTT button.
The external radio station shows signs of use, small paint abrasions visible in the photo.
They do not interfere with its normal use.
The radio has been tested with measuring equipment and is operational.
ATTENTION! The radio is compatible with all Clansman equipment.
All audio equipment fits into it.
