8 INCH AMERICAN CHARACTER BETSY MCCALL DOLL WITH TLC B-21 "HOLIDAY" OUTFIT

Betsy has brunette hair, with both barrettes. Beautiful face color. She has a bald spot on the top of her head in the rubber skullcap that is mostly covered with her hair. There are some brown spots on the side of her head that look worse in the picture (number 5). No splits on her sides, crotch or shoulders. Slight flaring on one knee, but no splits on either knee. There is a small red spot on the side of one leg at the hip, and a small spot on the back of one arm at the joint.
Betsy's "Holiday" pink skirt has a 3/4 inch tear at the taffeta trim; the pink fabric is frayed there.  The back seam could use a couple of stitches at the hem and at the black elastic waistband. The romper is not sewn at the legs (between the legs); I don't see any damage there. The taffeta and lace are discolored; more like a cream color now. One sleeve needs to be stitched at the seam where the silver trim is. There are some faint pinkish marks on the other sleeve and side of the blouse. The neck trim has pulled away from the taffeta about 1/2 inch on the side. The last picture shows the neck trim and skirt hem tears. She has original black shoes; there is a split in the strap of one shoe, and the knob is missing on the other. In spite of these issues, the outfit and doll display very well, so you don't really have to fix anything.
