    The Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad (CSS&SB) was a freight and passenger line connecting the named cities. It operated from 1903-1989, when the latest of several bankruptcy filings occurred. The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District took over passenger operations; freight service is still operated by the CSS&SB. For auction is a passenger train timetable, dated September 19, 1994. It lists all CSS&SB trains by run number, with arrival/departure times for the stations served. There are separate listings for eastbound and westbound trains, weekdays, Saturday, and Sunday/holidays. A fare schedule is also provided.
