1957 VINTAGE ORIGINAL 8” BETSY MCCALL “BRIDE” DRESS B-60 TLC

PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not a dealer or a shop owner just a doll lover downsizing in her retirement. This original first year wedding gown I would probably have to put in poor condition because of the bodice only. The rest of the gown is in good condition no loose or missing lace, no rips or tears, no stains or spots, and a light pressing would do miracles for it’s looks. Both original rosettes are still attached on the front of the gown. Both original Square snaps are there and still working. Original ribbon still attached to the front of the gown. The gown has some wrinkles from being in storage which again which would easily press out. The bodice has had a much harder life than the skirt, both under arms have frayed away at the seam with the left side being much worse than the right. I believe these under arms could be fixed with a satin patch and fabric glue or they could even be left as they are as it would not be that noticeable in a display. But I will leave that for the new owner to choose. But amazingly the rest of the dress is in good condition. I believe this dress could be fixed up to be very nice looking again for any sweet old Betsy McCall. If you should win this auction please pay within three days and thank you so very much for reading!
