Vintage 1939 Gentleman Souvenir Figural 5 & Dime Store Perfume Bottle. It is a souvenir of Marshalltown, IA. This was owned by a collector of salt and pepper shakers. She was used to marking the bottom of those with her name, date and place of purchase. So she did similar with this bottle by leaving a note with it. On the bottom it says " made in USA U S of A pat app for ". It was wrapped in a paper that reads " Chas. gave me this perfume in 1939 Christmas ". She kept this with the Betty Boop bottle shown in the last photo. There is a hole in the lid so it could become a salt shaker. The lid comes off easily. There aren't any chips or cracks. It is as shown in the photos.
