Description
HERE IS A THREE PAGE LETTER, WRITING ON FRONT AND BACK OF EACH PAGE. THIS IS WRITTEN ON STATIONERY FROM THE SHELBURNE HOUSE, SHELBURNE FARMS IN VERMONT. IT IS DATED "THURSDAY SEPT. 9" AND GOING BY THAT DATE AND OTHER ITEMS IT WAS WITH IT WOULD BE FROM 1926. THE LETTER GOES INTO GREAT DETAIL ABOUT A VACATION TRIP OUT WEST TO A RANCH IN MONTANA. AFTER TRAVELING BY TRAIN THEY HAD AN EIGHT DAY STAY NEAR RAMS HORN MOUNTAIN. HE NAMES THE TRAINS AND ROUTE THEY TOOK. THIS IS FROM A COLLEGE STUDENT WRITING TO ONE OF HIS CLASSMATES. NOT SURE IF HE LIVED AT THE SHELBURNE HOUSE OR THE STORY BEHIND THE LETTERHEAD. HE SIGNED IT RALPH BUT MENTIONS THE LAST NAME WEBB IN THE LETTER AS BEING PART OF HIS PARTY. THE LETTER IS IN GOOD SHAPE.
