    Description

1924 Book: Dollars and Sense in the Poultry Business The "Quisenberry Way Makes Every Hen Pay". This scarce book was published by the American Poultry School in Kansas City, Missouri. It appears to be a promotional piece for the school and for the poultry business in general. Most of the content is explaining what students will be able to learn from the courses offered and what they will be able to achieve by running a poultry business of their own. There are profiles of staff and dignitaries of the school. Interestingly, some of the book is specifically aimed at attracting women to the poultry business.
96 pages with lots of photographs and illustrations. Dimensions are 5.75 inches by 8.75 inches.
This copy is in very good vintage condition. Overall, the text is bright, clean, and unmarked. There is some age toning and there are a small number of pages with a faint damp stain in the top margin area. No sticking to pages, no mold. The covers have some light soil, the rear cover has a small damp stain along the top edge.
